Tactical Firearms Course in DFW

Tactical Firearms Classes in DFW

Tactical Training for Beginners & Intermediate

The training is designed to be a comprehensive training to prepare the average person to be capable of defending themselves with a firearm. We will educate you on what it really means to be proficient, and most of all, we will teach you how to train to achieve these standards.

We believe there is a “Baseline” standard to be self-defense ready. This refers to the bare minimum standard needed to be proficient.

REMEMBER THIS IS THE MINIMUM! OR IN OTHER WORDS, THE BASELINE.

You should be able to do these drills with these time standards.

Move to a non-transparent 8’ wall on either the left or right side of the range and engage targets on the left side of the wall twice. Then, transition, while reloading, to the right side of the wall and engage the right target twice. At least one target must be a no-shoot target. The shooter must not know which target is a no-shoot target. Please see the video or diagram for example

Unfortunately, the vast VAST majority of gun owners are not ready for a self-defence situation. In fact, the vast majority of police officers are not ready.

We believe in two principles when making these standards.
1. You must always train harder than the fight.
2. The average person can easily hit these standards WITH PROPER INSTRUCTION AND PRACTICE. It is amazing how fast people learn with proper instruction.

We do not base these standards on a self-defense scenario or ego. The only thing we pay attention to in the making of these standards is some core principles of weapons handling and firefights. Key examples are accuracy, speed, movement, stress inoculation, and decision-making.

The Sequence is an opportunity for you to attend a series of training that will bring you up to these standards. It consists of four different training sessions, totaling eight days of shooting.

The classes are

Basic and advanced Pistol
Basic and advanced AR
Basic and advanced gunfighting/ vehicle work (with sim rounds)
Basic and advanced CQB (with sim rounds)

You do not need to attend all 4classes; you can pick and choose which one you’d like to attend.
