Tactical Firearms Course in DFW
Tactical Training for Beginners & Intermediates
This course is designed for beginners to intermediate shooters. The goal of the course is to teach students fundamental tactical skills and know-how while revealing any shortcomings in their tactical proficiency, kit setup, and weapons manipulation. This course stresses two major components of any tactical situation: weapons manipulation and mental calmness.
Many students think they understand how they will react under stress and believe that they will be able to still do reloads smoothly and consistently, but anyone who has been in a conflict will tell you that the stress response makes even the most basic of movements incredibly difficult. This course is designed to help demonstrate these errors and teach you how to maintain your mental acuity if you find yourself in a high-pressure, rapidly changing sensory environment. This focus on the “mental” is unique to our training program, as we focus heavily on the mental training in order to see better results in the physical and shooting portions of the course.

Strategic AR & Pistol Training - What to Expect
We do not take more than 6 people per class, and there will be two instructors. This creates a teacher-to-student ratio of 3 to 1, offering a highly personal and focused training environment. This course is a basic introduction to AR and pistol shooting, and handling. We start off with zero ammo and go through the basics of gun setup and technique to comb through fundamental errors. By the end of the day, you will know your gun/guns better than ever before and will be proficient at kit setups, reloading, handling common jams, etc.
From there, we move on to one-shot training drills with AR, before graduating to pistol. The goal is to get reps build a strategy in order to do things smoothly and correctly, and we also focus on mental acuity under stress. Once gear, shooting, and mental proficiency are where they need to be, we begin diving into the physical side of tactical situations - how to navigate between cover, how to shoot from behind cover/barriers, how to properly "clear" rooms, etc.
The course culminates in running through an obstacle course and different drills, applying everything you've learned in cohesive situations. This includes shooting competitions and gear failure drills to simulate real-world situations under pressure.
At the end of the day, we guarantee you will leave with higher tactical proficiency, and most importantly, we guarantee you will have fun during the learning process!
